Julius Berger Nigeria Plc (JBN) is a prominent Nigerian firm that provides comprehensive services that encompass the planning, design, engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of industrial projects, as well as the construction of buildings and infrastructure.  There is no doubt that Julius Berger is a dedicated partner who has a proven track record of producing dependable and high-quality solutions. 

In order to fulfil its commitment to drive enhancement and capacity building within the Education and Human Capital Development sector of Nigeria, the company is providing scholarships to qualified female engineering students attending public universities across the country. This is being done as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The merit-based scholarship is available to full-time female undergraduates pursuing the following courses at Nigerian public universities: Architecture, Building and Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, Building Technology, Cartography, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Land Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Material Engineering, and Metallurgy Engineering.

Who Is Eligible for the Julius Berger Scholarship Award?

To be eligible for the scholarship award,  applicants must: ·  

  • Be a citizen of Nigeria
  • Be a female 
  • Be in a Federal or State-owned university based in Nigeria
  • Be in the Faculty of Engineering /Environmental /Technology
  • Currently in their second year of full-time study in a Nigerian Federal or State University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC)
  • Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system

The scholarship is a full scholarship, renewable through graduation, provided the recipient maintains high academic and ethical standards as outlined in the award letter.

Required Documents

Applicants must provide the following in digital format (clear and legible):

  • Passport-sized photograph (JPEG, ≤ 200 KB
  • University or JAMB admission letter
  • UTME results
  • O’Level results
  • A’Level, OND, or NCE results (if available/applicable)
  • First-year academic results (100-level)
  • National Identification Number (NIN)

When applying for the JBN scholarship online, beware of fraudulent websites.  Such websites may require you to make payments as part of the application process.

Email applications are not accepted. 

JBN does not assign representatives/agents to assist applicants in applying. 

Any candidate found to have submitted false documents will be disqualified or withdrawn at any stage of the scholarship process.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to take the proctored computer-based test.
