About Kickstart Entrepreneurship Programme
The International Breweries Foundation launched Kickstart, an initiative focused on enterprise growth and development for young entrepreneurs. The programme helps youth-owned enterprises by providing training, funding (grants), and mentoring.
You do not need to be a registered business to complete the application. However, if you are awarded the grant, you must register your firm.
All businesses or ideas applying must be in an early stage, ranging from 0 to 3 years.
Successful applicants will be shortlisted and contacted with information about next steps.
Program Goals:
- Â Support youth-owned enterprises and encourage entrepreneurship.
- Â Create jobs to minimise young unemployment in Nigeria.
- Â Empower young entrepreneurs with training, funding, and mentorship.
Business Focus Areas
- Agriculture – (Maize, Rice, and Sorghum value chain and others)
- Retailing (Unique small-scale sales model for International Breweries Plc. Products)
- Others (Circular economy e.g. Recycling, Renewable Energy, etc.)
However, if your business is not mentioned in the focus area you can apply under the others category. but priority is placed on the business focus areas mentioned.

- Nigerian citizens aged 18-35 years old.
- A viable business or business idea.
- Early-stage companies (0-3 years)
- Businesses can operate in a variety of fields, including:
- Agriculture: Maize, Rice, and Sorghum value chain, among others.
- Retailing: A distinctive small-scale sales model for International Breweries Plc. products.
- Â Recycling, renewable energy, and so on are all examples of the circular economy.
