About the 2025 TechnoServe Graduate Internship Program

The TechnoServe Nigeria Internship Program gives recent graduates from a range of academic fields the chance to work with TechnoServe in real life through internships that the program sets up.

Interns at TechnoServe learn by doing in the livelihood sector and have a meaningful internship that will help them grow academically, professionally, and personally.

Length: An internship usually lasts between one year and two years.  Internships in the following departments can be full-time or part-time:

The Operations Department is an important aspect of TechnoServe that oversees and maintains the daily operations and processes that help the business reach its goals and objectives.  Some examples are: travel and logistics, fleet management, safety and security, inventory management, procurement and non-fringe insurance, and asset management.

The Finance Department is in charge of checking the organization’s finances, making sure there is enough cash on hand, processing different types of payments, keeping an eye on accounts payable and receivable, tracking spending, and giving financial reports and support to senior management.

The HR department is an important part of any business since it handles all areas of the employee lifecycle, from hiring and training to overseeing performance and firing.  The HR department is in charge of the “people” functions of the company, making sure that the workplace is pleasant and productive.

Roles that help with programs or projects:  Programs that are funded by donors are projects that get money from people, groups, or governments to help solve certain social, economic, or environmental problems.  These programs might be anything from building projects in poor areas to research efforts that try to identify ways to solve problems that cause poverty.

In your application, say which department you think would be the best fit for you.
