About the Job
Enhance the efficiency and productivity of internal personnel and third-party services by effectively planning, following up, and optimizing all preventive/corrective maintenance tasks to achieve the equipment availability/reliability objectives at the lowest sustainable maintenance cost. This will be achieved in collaboration with all relevant departments or sub-departments, in accordance with the company’s maintenance guideline.
What you’ll be doing
- The Mechanical Planner is in charge of preparing all planned maintenance to be carried out by the Mechanical Execution team, service firms, or contractors. In that position, the Mechanical Planner will collaborate closely with the inspectors and the execution team on the following activities and responsibilities to enhance the day-to-day job preparation and planning:
- Planning and scheduling of all preventative maintenance routines in SAP/DMS, together with the specific execution responsibilities. Generation and optimization of the 48/96-week workload balancing sheet per department/specialty/technic, with the goal of achieving a good balance throughout the year. It generates weekly and 13-week plans. Prioritizes notifications from condition monitoring or others, and creates corrective work orders in accordance with the requester
- Leads the preparation and consolidation of shutdown planning (personal, third-party services, materials, spare parts, equipment, tools, time, and critical path) through coordination meetings that follow MAC rules and tools.
- Generates purchase orders and third-party service contracts for the mayor shutdown, ensuring that spares and services are provided on schedule. Control expenses throughout planning as well as during execution vs. budget, and control inventory levels vs. guide value.
- Ensure that special and repetitive jobs have a standard work order. Lead the weekly KPI revision meeting and work planning confirmation for the upcoming week.
- Takes care of his own development demands and trains maintenance staff on planning requirements.
- Â Ensure that all work orders have the necessary H&S information, and that all regulatory requirements (safety, environmental, and maintenance) are included in the yearly preventive maintenance plan and followed.
-  Keep track of how the plans are being carried out. Follow-up tasks defined in major shut-downs on a daily basis.
- Â Leads After Action Review for Shutdown or Mayoral Repairs
- Â The Mechanical Planner will be used to monitor some jobs and contractors during the annual plant.

What we are looking for
- Mechanical Engineering graduates with 3-5 years of expertise in rotating machinery, equipment maintenance, and condition monitoring in industries such as cement manufacture, refineries, power plants, and heavy process plans.
- Understanding of gears, transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, lubrication, and mechanical non-destructive testing
- Â Adequate knowledge of equipment function and maintenance (crushers, stackers, reclaimers, raw mills, belt conveyors, and auxiliary equipment).
- Good knowledge of machinery conditions. Monitoring technologies and maintenance principles.
- Â Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide corrective steps.
- Excellent knowledge of vibration analysis, oil analysis, wear measurement, thermography, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, radiography, and so on.
- Good grasp of the RCA approach and facilitation skills
- CMRP certification will be an additional advantage.
