The Lagos State Government has officially launched its job portal in order to hire suitable teachers for the public primary and secondary schools located within the state. This action is a component of the continuous efforts that the administration is making to address the shortage of teachers and to improve the overall quality of education throughout the state.
Individuals will be able to apply for State Teaching positions at the entry level (GL08) in their respective professions. The employment portal, which will be accessible for a period of two weeks (beginning on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 and ending on Monday, July 14th, 2025), is designed to provide a centralized platform where candidates may submit their applications.
According to the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission’s announcement on Tuesday,
“The Lagos State Teaching Service Commission is set to reactivate its Recruitment Portal as a bold step towards improving access to employment opportunities, equity, and fairness.
“The job portal, which will be accessible for two weeks (Tuesday, July 1st 2025, to Monday, July 14th, 2025), is intended to provide a centralised platform where individuals can apply for State Teaching jobs at the entry level (GL 08) in their relevant fields,” as stated in the notice.

Recruitment Details
- Positions Available: Candidates can apply for both Teaching and non-teaching positions in primary and secondary schools. Subject areas include Mathematics, English, Basic Science, and others.

Requirements:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
