What is the Legislative Internship Programme?
The Legislative Internship Program is a way to help young Nigerians learn about how laws are made, how policies are made, and how governments run.

The 2025 edition is all about helping young people learn more about how democracy works, getting more young people involved in making policy, and training a new generation of civic-minded leaders.
Job Description
The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) is undertaking a 10-week full-time internship program with support from the European Union (EU) for young Nigerians who want to learn about legislative practice and process at the National Assembly.
Eligibility Requirements
(i) Must be a Nigerian citizen aged 21-35.
(ii) Possess a first degree in any discipline from a tertiary institution.
(iii). Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
(iv) Excellent English writing and speaking skills
(v)Strong computer abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Benefits of the Programme
- Stipends for transportation and lunch inside Abuja will be provided. Â
- Other logistics costs will be handled by the interns. Â
- Prospective interns should be able to live in Abuja or pay for their own lodging throughout the internship, as PLAC will not cover accommodation or relocation costs.

- Applications received after this date or in violation of the application procedures will not be considered.
