Job Role
- One of NoemDek’s divisions that specializes in car leasing is looking to hire a smart and experienced Operations Lead to handle day-to-day logistics operations.
- This person will be in charge of making sure that services are delivered smoothly and efficiently, keeping costs low, and managing teams.
- The best candidate for the job will make sure that all logistics tasks are done on time, on budget, and in line with safety rules and business policy.
- The Operations Lead will also work to improve total efficiency, make processes run more smoothly, and make customers happier.
Responsibilities of Operations Manager
Team Leadership & Management
- Provide leadership and oversight for logistics teams, which may include drivers.
- Offer performance feedback, training, and development opportunities to team members.
- Guarantee effective workforce allocation, scheduling, and shift management
- Address any escalated customer concerns regarding logistics and ensure that they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Ensure that the logistics requirements of clients are satisfactorily addressed by maintaining effective communication.
- Track down opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to optimize operations.
Efficiency of Operations
- Manage the daily logistics operations, which encompass vehicle surveillance and routing.
- Formulate and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, minimize expenses, and guarantee the timely delivery of services.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at an optimal level.
- Guarantee the timely completion of all customer orders in accordance with service-level agreements.
- Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the management of operational budgets, monitor expenses, and guarantee the efficient utilization of resources.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining the quality of service.
Fleet Management
- Ensure that the company’s fleet of vehicles is maintained regularly, that safety regulations are adhered to, and that they are used efficiently.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers and vendors to conduct vehicle repairs and servicing as required.
Required Qualifications for Operations Manager
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a logistics company.
- Proficient in the processes of procurement and logistics.
- Previous employment with a vehicle leasing company.
- Expertise in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
- A typing pace of 60 words per minute.
