Job Responsibilities
- Provide security monitoring and incident response services as needed by the business, in accordance with Cyber Security’s mission of protecting Client’s Digital Assets (including Industrial Control Systems) to a level of confidentiality, integrity, and availability commensurate with the threat to those assets and their value to the Client.
- Act as an internal specialist on intrusion detection and incident response.
- Conduct investigations into network intrusions and other cyber security incidents. Provide a coordinated reaction to complicated cyber-attacks threatening the company’s assets and computer systems.
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of security monitoring and incident response processes and solutions as needed to support our cyber security program.
- Use security monitoring and incident response tool sets with a focus on ongoing improvement.
- Investigate and provide solutions for incident response and digital forensics.
- Document security breaches and evaluate the damage they inflict.
- Collaborate with the security team to run tests and identify network vulnerabilities.
- Fix discovered vulnerabilities to maintain a high security level.
- Stay informed about information technology (IT) security trends and news.
- Create company-wide best practices for IT security.
- Perform penetration testing.
- Assist colleagues in installing security software and understanding information security management.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Computer Science or Related Fields
- 3+ years of expertise in cyber security or related jobs, preferably in application, operating system, and database security.
- Experience with Comptia Security, CCNA Routing & Switching, and CCNA Security.
- Experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems, with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Relevant industry certificates (such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, COMPTIA+, Imperva Database Administrator, Puppet Practitioner, CASP+ CEH, GCIH, GCIA, and OSCP) are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Fortinet, Eset, Checkpoint, Microsoft, and ASSO will be advantageous.
