Reckitt (previously Reckitt Benckiser) is a British firm that sells consumer goods all over the world. Its main concentration is on health, hygiene, and nutrition goods.
Dettol, Jik, Harpic, Mortein, Durex, and Airwick are some of its most well-known brands.
Reckitt has been doing business in Nigeria since 1960.
Reckitt is making more and more of its products in Nigeria. A lot of the things it sells in Nigeria are now made there. This helps lower the need for imports (particularly for packaging and raw materials) and keep an eye on currency and foreign exchange concerns.
One way to adapt is to make “sachets,” which are smaller, cheaper packages that match the needs of Nigerian consumers. For instance, items that used to be marketed in bottles are now being sold in sachets.
The company has said it wants to grow its facility on the outskirts of Lagos over the next five years. This would include adding facilities to make more products for both local use and export to other African countries.
In June 2021, Reckitt launched its Sub-Saharan Africa headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos. This facility is the main office for its work in several Sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, and Ivory Coast.
Job Description
The Reckitt Nigeria Management Trainee Program provides a unique opportunity for young, ambitious individuals to establish a fast-track career in a global organization such as Reckitt. Through rotations in our Commercial and Supply functions, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business process. The program is designed to cultivate the next generation of Reckitt Leaders.

- Graduated with a minimum of Upper Second Class Honours.
