Filmhouse Cinemas is a dynamic film exhibition firm with a style that integrates a variety of elements, including cutting-edge cinema technologies and exquisite dine-in cinema services, managed by a competent operations team.
Job Description.
The essential duties and key responsibilities include the following, as well as any other duties that may be assigned:
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the day-to-day operations of the cinemas.
- To assist the business management in increasing daily retail profitability by maximising RPH while avoiding shrinkage and waste.
- Proactively manage operating costs on a daily basis. Support the business manager in effectively managing controllable costs, third-party contractors, and team members.
- To plan, execute, and manage operational responsibilities at the cinema.
- To continuously provide input to the business manager and colleagues on how Cinema Operations could be improved, and to always promote the requirements of the guests and team members.
- To improve the performance of all employees through teamwork, motivation, effective coaching, and performance management.
- Performing administrative responsibilities, creating shift schedules, and managing staff compensation.
- To suggest and prepare a performance schedule plan in collaboration with the filmbooking department to achieve the business strategy’s objectives.
- To increase daily retail profitability by increasing RPH while minimizing shrinkage and waste.
- Ensure that the cinemas meet their audience targets every week/period.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of supervisory operations management experience (retail experience preferable).
- Excellent customer relations and management.
- Must be a skilled team player with excellent multitasking skills and the capacity to adapt to changing situations.
- He or she must be able to stay up with trends in this field of expertise and use specialist knowledge in real-world situations.
- Must have a thorough awareness of health and safety.
- Excellent report-writing and presenting skills.
- Effective use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
