About Lagos SUBEB

The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) is the government institution in charge of making sure that every kid in Lagos State who is of school age may get a good basic education, no matter what their financial or physical situation is.

Main Task of SUBEB are

Give and organize universal basic education (primary and junior secondary)
Make the Universal Basic Education program’s policies
Oversee teaching and learning at public elementary schools
Help teachers and school management enhance their skills.

Strategic Focus is in line with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda’s Education and Technology pillar.

LASUBEB believes that every kid in Lagos State should have access to good education, important skills, and chances to become a creative, problem-solving citizen.

Requirements for the Classroom Teachers Recruitment

To be considered for a teaching position, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
Higher National Diploma (HND) combined with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.S.Ed., B.A.Ed., B.Ed.)
Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed./M.Sc. Ed)

Other Requirements:

Good communication skills and classroom management abilities.
Must be a Nigerian citizen.
Willingness to work anywhere within Lagos State.
Basic digital literacy is an added advantage.
