Overview of the Program
The Lafarge Africa Graduate Trainee Programme 2025/26 is a full-time, organized, and rigorous development program that lasts for 12 to 18 months, depending on the business unit and track.
Those who are chosen will go through:
- Assignments that change from one department to another

Programme Structure
- 1 Month Induction: Intensive onboarding to understand our culture, safety standards, and operations.
- 4 Month Rotation: Gain exposure across Manufacturing, Commercial, Logistics, Procurement, and other business functions.
- 7 Month Deep Dive: Specialize in your chosen function with real project responsibilities.
- Mentorship: Every Graduate Trainee is paired with an experienced mentor for guidance and career development.
Eligibility Requirements
- Graduated no later than January 2023 with a minimum of Second Class or its equivalent
- Degrees in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- At ease with remote collaboration platforms, data analysis, and digital tools
- Any exposure to a plant environment or 0–2 years of work experience is advantageous
- An additional benefit is the active involvement in student organizations, volunteer initiatives, or internships.
