Job Description

You would be responsible for the enrollment and management of businesses that would access our credit products in your capacity as a field credit officer. You would be responsible for expanding your loan portfolio while simultaneously ensuring that all loans are repaid by the due date, all while maintaining profitability.
Consequently, you would be instrumental in the evaluation of these businesses during their credit application and would be able to utilize the innovative tools we have developed to assist you in monitoring their performance throughout the loan.
Additionally, you would be accountable for deducting information from a variety of sources regarding the five Cs of credit, with capacity, character, and capital being the primary considerations.
Providing management with recommendations regarding the most effective course of action to take before, during, and after the disbursement of a loan facility, while considering a variety of economic factors.

Job Responsibilities

Identify and onboard viable businesses within your assigned geographical area for opening business accounts with Moniepoint.
Engage customers to guarantee optimal account usage so they can qualify for credit.
Review and accept (or refuse) loan requests after properly analysing all relevant facts.
Conduct physical visits to potential borrowers’ business locations to evaluate business books, taking inventory and turnover into mind.
Meet gross loan portfolio targets and portfolio profit targets by maintaining a healthy number of loan clients and ensuring that all loans in the portfolio are performing.
Monitor the active loan portfolio to verify the continuous use of business accounts and loan payback performance.
Perform all additional credit-related responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.

Qualifications

A minimum of OND in any business-related discipline.
A minimum of two years experience in a sales role for loan products in a financial institution.
demonstrated expertise in credit risk analysis.
A strong understanding of financial analysis is an added advantage.
Must live in Edo State.
