Job Role
- TAG Energy is an integrated service firm that provides a wide range of oilfield supplies and support services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating code to ensure it is properly organized and works with browsers and operating systems.
- Determine the structure and design of web pages.
- Optimizing web pages to increase performance and scalability.
- Web pages are written using a number of markup languages.
- Compile and evaluate data, procedures, and code to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Backup files from websites to local folders for later retrieval.
- Identifying and resolving problems found through customer feedback and testing.
General Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or a similar certification from a respectable institution, plus at least three years of experience in Web Development/Programming.
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities, as well as the capacity to influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation and multicultural/international setting.
- Microsoft or Cisco certification is an extra benefit.
- Proven PHP development experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, and Laravel.
- Experience: Minimum of three to six years of experience
- Good knowledge of Canva or other design software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook), Networking Applications, and Web-Based Applications.
