The AgricTech Empowerment Network is committed to bringing about a transformation in agriculture through the use of education and technology.
We came into existence in 2025 with the intention of addressing the difficulties that Nigerian farmers encounter when attempting to gain access to contemporary approaches.

The AgricTech Scholarship aims to support distinguished students in Nigerian higher education institutions who demonstrate a strong passion for agriculture and agricultural technology.
The scholarship seeks to cultivate the next generation of innovators, change-makers, and agripreneurs who will shape the future of food and agriculture in Nigeria.

- You will receive a certificate as an Agritech scholar and feature in NGO platforms
Who is Eligible to Apply?
To be eligible for the AgriTech Undergraduate Scholarship, you are need to meet the following requirements:
- Make sure that you are currently enrolled in a Nigerian university, polytechnic, or college of education that is recognised.
- You should be in the second year or higher of an undergraduate program in Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, or other fields that are connected to agriculture.
CGPA REQUIREMENTS
- 1st Class / Distinction – Priority consideration for full awards.
- 2nd Class Upper/Upper Credit – Consideration with other strong factors (video, passion, experience, etc.).
TRANSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
- Make sure to include a copy of your academic transcript or statement of results that is either official or student-only.
- At the very least, your most recent academic session (for example, 100 or 200 level, depending on your current level) must be covered by the required transcript.
- Signatures or stamps must be affixed to transcripts by the department or registrar of the educational establishment.

- Online agriculture-related course certificate from FAO eLearning Academy (https://elearning.fao.org/)
Scholarship Application Timeline
- Application Opens: Nov 2025
- Application Deadline: Dec 2025 (May close earlier if application target is reached OR extended if target not reached)
- Review Period: 2 weeks after final application deadline
- Winner Announced: 1 week after review is completed

Show that you have real-world experience, even if it’s just a little bit. Projects, volunteering, internships, or community farming projects all qualify.

Method of Application
Apply online by following the steps below:

- You are required to submit a video that is two minutes long and explains why you have a strong interest in agriculture or agricultural technology.
- Send in a curriculum vitae or resume that will showcase your academic background, experience that is relevant, and extracurricular activities.
- Please provide a certificate from FAO eLearning Academy that corresponds to a completed online agriculture-related course.
The deadline to submit an application is December 2025.
(The application may close earlier if the target level is attained, or it may be extended if the target level is not reached).
