Energia Limited is the Joint Venture Operator of the Ebendo/Obodeti Marginal Field, which was formerly known as the Obodougwa/Obodeti Marginal field. This field is situated in Ebendo, close to Kwale, in the Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State. Energia Limited is in partnership with Oando Production and Development Company (OPDC) and holds a 55%/45% working interest in favor of both Energia Limited and its collaborative partner, Oando.
In its capacity as Operator, it brought the Ebendo field to first oil production in 2009, with an initial production capacity of 1800 barrels of oil per day (bopd). Subsequently, it developed the field by drilling four more wells, which resulted in its current production capacity of 5000 bopd.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS
In 2009, Energia Limited entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with its host community as well as with other affected communities.
The Memoranda of Understanding delineate the mutual expectations, obligations, and benefits between the Joint Venture and the six communities within its operational areas (Emu-Ebendo, Obodougwa-Ogume, Umusadege, Isumpe, Umusam, and Ogbeani).
Some of the Community Projects include:
- Construction of 12m x 18km earth road from Obodougwa to Ogume
- Construction of a mini housing estate with standard borehole and electricity
- Rehabilitation of Obodougwa water borehole system
- Routine maintenance of the generator that powers the borehole system
- Renovation of the 2 nos dilapidated primary school blocks in Obodugwa
- Institution of Elders Welfare Programme

- Construction and commissioning of an ultra-modern market at Ebendo
- Provision of drums of diesel every month for the King of Emu Kingdom

Community Employment
Energia Limited has also exerted a substantial influence on local content. Over the past five years of operation, it has supported and fostered the growth of community-based contractors and service providers.
These contractors participate in diverse facets of the company’s operations.
The company promotes the establishment of businesses by members of its host communities to capitalize on opportunities within the industry by serving as contractors in Energia Limited’s diverse field development initiatives.
In 2012 and 2013, Energia Limited assisted in establishing Ifogat (located in Emu-Ebendo) and OY Galant (situated in Obodougwa-Ogume). These corporations benefit from ongoing commercial support from Energia Limited.
Currently, Ifogat has effectively completed a series of multi-million Naira construction contracts, while OY Galant maintains an ongoing perimeter maintenance contract for a flow station.
It is anticipated that in the near future, these companies will have expanded sufficiently to provide their services to the broader Nigerian business community.

Energia Limited Milestone Achievements
Energia Limited currently has a Production potential of 10,000 bopd, and is currently working on installing a Modular Refinery in its area of operations.
- Re-entered and successfully re-completed Ebendo 1
- Achieved first oil production in October 2009
- Commenced full production operations in December 2009
- Successfully embarked on 8 months of safe and continuous crude oil trucking for export in 2010
- Commissioned our 8.5km X 6” export line in August 2010
Gas Plant
The NEDO Gas Plant is situated adjacent to the Energia Ebendo Flow Station. The Modular Plant is jointly owned by Energia and Xenergi, with ownership shares of 30% and 70% respectively, and Xenergi serving as the operator of the facility. The gas facility was established in 2011 and has been operational to utilize associated gas produced alongside crude oil by the Energia/Oando joint venture in OML 56. The facility has a nameplate capacity of 25 million standard cubic feet per day and produces natural gas liquids (NGL), propane, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from the associated gas.
The current plan involves increasing the plant’s capacity, constructing a pipeline to transport the lean gas to an adjacent gas line, establishing a compressed natural gas (CNG) facility, and developing an independent power plant to be integrated into the national grid.
Modular Refinery
Energia is currently working on a Modular Refinery, to be installed and Commissioned within its area of operations.
The plant is being designed to produce Diesel, Kerosene, fuel oil and may be upgraded in future to produce Petrol (PMS)
