About the job
The QC Online Officer shall establish and execute controls and procedures to guarantee the integration of quality and food safety requirements on the production floor, oversee the monitoring and verification of OPRPs and CCPs, and ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards in daily mixes and finished products.
He/She shall serve as the Quality Leader during their shift to monitor online quality parameters and supervise real-time quality inspections throughout production to prevent defects and contamination prior to product delivery to consumers.
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, or any other related field.
- At least two years of expertise in manufacturing and quality laboratory operations, preferably in dairy operations.
- Familiar with FMCG industry standards and regulatory guidelines (such as HACCP and ISO standards).
- Knowledge of FSMS (FSSC 22000) • Experience with Quality Assurance and Sanitation protocols • Analytical abilities and attention to detail for interpreting test results • Strong understanding of GMP, GHP, and regulatory standards (HACCP and ISO).
- Promoting a strong team spirit and leading others to reach specified goals.
