Responsibilities of Architect (Corper)
Develop and design architectural projects, which include the construction of structures, spaces, and surroundings.
Work together with customers to gain an understanding of the requirements of the project as well as their preferences.
Produce and present design concepts, drawings, and models.
Carry out site evaluations and feasibility studies
Create and manage project deadlines, budgets, and resources
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other parties who have a vested interest in the project
Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently a member of the NYSC Corps in architecture or a similar field
- Pertinent abilities or experience in the areas of project management and architectural design
- Strong design and technical skills, such as being able to use AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software well
- Great in working with others and communicating
- The capacity to work both autonomously and in collaboration with others
