Description
- CNG Maintenance will be in charge of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNG fuelling stations and associated equipment.
- This function entails ensuring that all CNG systems operate efficiently and in accordance with safety guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of CNG systems, engines, and components to detect problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on CNG vehicles and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with CNG systems, engines, and associated components.
- Replace or repair any faulty parts and components as needed.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- When working with CNG equipment, ensure that you follow all environmental and safety standards.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians and share best practices in CNG maintenance.
- Stay up to date on the latest CNG technology and maintenance practices.
Requirements For CNG Maintenance Technician
Education and Work Experience
- Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in maintenance engineering, with an emphasis on CNG or gas compression systems.
- Strong knowledge of CNG equipment, safety requirements, and maintenance methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment for CNG maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment accurately and quickly
