Job Description
- We want a creative and experienced Content Manager to lead our content strategy and make sure it’s carried out across all of our channels.
- The best person for the job will be good at telling stories, SEO, and digital marketing.
- They should also be able to handle a content calendar, lead a group of writers and designers, and produce high-quality, interesting content that supports our brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities of Content Manager
- Create, implement, and manage a comprehensive content strategy that is consistent with company goals.
- Manage an editorial calendar to ensure blog pieces, articles, newsletters, social media updates, and other marketing content are delivered on time.
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, quality, correctness, and consistency with the brand’s voice.
- Optimize content for SEO and track success with analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
- Work with the marketing, design, and product teams to develop integrated campaigns and multimedia content.
- Lead and manage content creators, freelancers, and agencies as required.
- Monitor industry trends and rival content to identify areas for interaction and expansion.
- Maintain compliance with copyright, data protection, and brand requirements.
- Report on critical content KPIs and suggest changes.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a closely related subject.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Content Manager, Editor, or a comparable position.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- A strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content performance statistics.
- Experience with content management systems (such as WordPress, HubSpot, and Drupal).
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Outstanding organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to operate both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- A creative approach that pays close attention to detail.
