A brief Job Description
- We have an open position for an Engineering Lead who will be responsible for taking ownership of our technological platforms, managing a cross-functional engineering team, and ensuring the delivery of products that are innovative, secure, and scalable.
Main Duties and Obligations for Engineering Lead
- Lead and guide a group of software engineers, ensuring that the code they produce is of a high quality and that the project is delivered on schedule.
- You will be responsible for the architecture, design, and supervision of the development of scalable and secure platforms for e-commerce and financial services applications.
- Collaborate with the Product, Cybersecurity, and Business teams in order to match the development of technological solutions with the objectives of the business.
- Create CI/CD pipelines, development best practices, and coding standards for the engineering department.
- Manage the performance of the system, as well as its availability and dependability, across all applications.
- Embrace innovation by investigating and putting into practice rapidly developing technologies.
- Maintain oversight of integrations with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and security requirements.
- Take part in the process of hiring technical and growing the team.
Qualifications and Abilities:
- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (a Master’s Degree is desirable).
- with a minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role, seven years or more of expertise in software engineering.
- Proven experience in the construction of systems in environments involving financial services and/or shopping online.
- Strong familiarity with contemporary frameworks for both the frontend and the backend (for example, Node.js, Python, React, Java, and so on).
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong experience in the areas of APIs, payment systems, and security.
- Have exceptional abilities in the areas of leadership, communication, and project management.
