Primary Duties of Executive Driver
- Provide efficient and effective driving support services for the firm, guaranteeing safe transportation from various locations and assisting with entry and exit from the vehicle.
- Create and communicate transportation policies and procedures.
- Provide appropriate solutions and change the schedule in reaction to an unanticipated event.
- Perform airport pick-up and point-to-point services for companies and clients.
- Plan routes and requirements based on Office schedule requests. Document all movements in the car log.
- Keep a trip log to record the regions traveled, journey time, and work hours.
- Send a weekly report outlining general transportation operations.
- Including any extra roles as authorized by your supervisor or his representative.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Monitor and transmit to management, via your supervisor, the proper time for car inspections and servicing.
- Perform the required checks on the car everyday, as provided by the company.
- Renew paperwork and ensure that all documentation necessary by the state and federal governments are up to date.
- Develop ways for monitoring and measuring the car’s effectiveness.
- Ensure that the assigned vehicle complies with the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Corps’ operational regulations.
- Ensure that the car is always clean and running well.
- Whenever the car is in your possession, ensure that it is completely safe. In the event of an automobile accident, contact your supervisor first before negotiating with the third party. All talks must be conducted professionally.
Requirement/Skill set necessary
-  Minimum of 3–5 years of driving experience in Lagos.
- Â Valid Federal Government Driver’s License.
- Â Defensive Driving
- Â Effective communication in English (spoken and written).
-  Positive attitude towards work. Neat and professional appearance
- Â Understanding of driving rules, regulations, and courtesy
- Â Conversant with the Lagos road network and traffic regulations of Nigeria (the Ikoyi, Lekki, and Victoria Island axis are highly crucial).
- Â Focused, confident, and observant
