Eligibility Criteria for the Federal Government 2024/2025 Education Bursary Award
- Applicants must be registered students studying education at Nigerian colleges and universities.
- The applicant must be a full-time student.Â
- All applicants, including those with disabilities, must be in their second year or higher.
- A recipient of any existing scholarship is ineligible.
Method Of Application
We suggest all qualifying candidates to:
1. Go to the Federal Ministry of Education’s website (www.education.gov.ng) and click on the Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the home page.
2. Read the guidelines, then fill out the online application form; and
3. Print the completed form.
Please keep in mind that any applications submitted twice will be rejected!
Attach the following documents.
1. Letter of Admission to the Institute
2. CGPA Results.
3. State of Origin Certificate.
The registration portal will be open from April 18, 2025 to May 29, 2025.
Important Information:
1. Awards are valid in Nigeria and take effect at the start of each academic session.
2. No Award may be held concurrently with another Award, nor for part-time studies.
3. Change of course or institution is not permitted while receiving the prize.
Eligible candidates should submit only one application because numerous applications will disqualify the applicant.
