Job Description
- Proforce Galaxies Limited is looking for a Front-End Developer who is both highly talented and creative, and who has demonstrated proficiency in UI/UX design.
- Being able to demonstrate strong hands-on experience in both front-end development and user interface and user experience design is required for this dual-role post.
- Not only will the ideal applicant be able to construct apps that are high-performing and responsive, but they will also be able to design interfaces that are user-centered and intuitive.
- Your responsibilities will include producing experiences that are seamless and engaging across desktop, mobile, and online platforms. Additionally, you will be responsible for transforming complex satellite and geospatial data into clear and effective visual insights.
Responsibilities of UI / UX Developer
Front-End Development:
- Create responsive interfaces for online, mobile, and desktop applications utilizing frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, and Flutter.
- Integrate front-end applications and APIs to provide real-time satellite imagery, analytics, and insights.
- Optimize apps for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility, as well as performance and scalability.
- Perform unit and integration testing to guarantee dependability and functioning.
UI/UX Design:
- Manage and implement UI/UX processes, from wireframes to high-fidelity designs.
- Create user-centered designs with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (GIS analysts, product managers, cybersecurity specialists) to transform difficult data into user-friendly experiences.
- Maintain accessibility, usability, and consistency across all platforms.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with GIS analysts to create interactive maps, dashboards, and geospatial visualizations.
- Partner with cybersecurity experts to protect front-end applications from vulnerabilities.
- Maintain documentation for design systems, user interface components, and integration workflows.
- Keep up with the newest front-end frameworks, UI/UX best practices, and emerging design trends.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in front-end development, including strong, verifiable UI/UX design skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Proven ability to create and deliver high-quality UI/UX with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
- Excellent understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles.
- Outstanding debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
- The ability to strike a balance between creative design and technical execution.
Preferred qualifications:
- Â Experience with geospatial visualization libraries (Mapbox, Leaflet, CesiumJS).
- Â Experience with mobile development (React Native or Flutter).
- Â Knowledge of WebGL and 3D data visualization.
- Â Understanding of front-end security and data privacy practices.
- Â Experience with real-time data feeds, IoT, or telemetry-based interfaces.
- Â Contributions to open-source front-end and UI/UX projects.
