Job Role
We are in search of a Human Resources Intern who is results-oriented and dynamic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be accountable for the complete recruitment process, payroll administration, the expansion of our social media presence, and the nurturing of robust client relationships through consistent engagements and visits.
Key Responsibilities of Human Resources & Recruitment Officer Wanted
Recruitment and onboarding
- Manage the whole recruitment process, from sourcing to interviewing and onboarding candidates.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and specifications.
- Conduct background checks and employment verification.
Payroll Management
- Process monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain employee records for pay, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with tax and labor requirements.
Social Media and Employer Branding
- Create and implement plans for expanding the company’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Create interesting HR content and recruitment efforts.
- Post job vacancies and company culture online.
Client Relationship Management
- Conduct regular visits with clients for feedback, engagement, and company development.
- Serve as the principal HR contact for allocated client accounts.
- Address client and applicant concerns professionally and immediately.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a comparable discipline.
- A minimum of two years of relevant HR and recruitment experience.
- Proficient with payroll and HRIS software.
- Strong understanding of labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Experience in social media marketing or brand management is an added benefit.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Salary
- N200,000 – N250,000
