Key Responsibilities of Intern Pharmacist
- Assist in the accurate dispensing of medications under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Provide guidance to patients regarding the appropriate use of medications, their potential adverse effects, and their storage.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting stock checks, monitoring expirations, and placing orders.
- Engage in case discussions and clinical evaluations in a hospital setting.
- Ensuring confidentiality and maintaining patient records.
- Assistance with prescription verification and drug interaction reviews.
- Maintain awareness of pharmacy regulations, guidelines, and new medications.
Learning Objectives:
- Acquire practical experience in patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
- Comprehend pharmacy operations, including regulatory compliance.
- In a clinical setting, cultivate communication and collaboration abilities.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or have recently completed an accredited pharmacy program.
