Job Description
Your primary purpose in this position will be to provide assistance in the execution of ICT projects and to support ICT operations throughout Routing & Switching Data Centers.
Responsibilities of LAN-WAN Analyst
- As a LAN-WAN Analyst, you will be accountable for:
- Creating and supporting complete network LAN, WAN, wireless, and security solutions that fulfill needs and fit into the Obijackson Group’s entire network and security architecture.
- Evaluating current network and security systems to suggest and execute network system advancements on network switches, routers, internet firewall services, VPN, and other network management devices. defines, designs, and implements network and security solutions.
- Creating and maintaining standard builds/templates while applying sophisticated network and security engineering and architecture knowledge to complicated and diverse situations.
- Participating in IT network infrastructure project design and assessment to ensure network architecture goals and requirements are met and aligned with business objectives.
- Working with internal clients and service suppliers to build, implement, and support networks.
- Assessing vendor development and testing methodologies for diverse network domain projects.
- Performing network troubleshooting helps isolate and diagnose typical network issues.
- We are deploying both bare metal systems and virtual cloud services.
- Supporting and cooperating in the development, implementation, and administration of processes and procedures to ensure reliability.
- Creating network and security documentation, including diagrams and work instructions, test plans, implementation plans, and project deadlines for a variety of projects.
- Creating functional requirements/specifications documentation.
- demonstrated confidence in the capacity to present and have conversations.
- Developing best practices in partnership with IT Security and IT Infrastructure Operations.
- Collaboration with IT Security and Service Delivery for compliance and audits.
- The ability to preserve and promote sensitivity and respect in a culturally diverse workplace.
- Ability to travel.
What are we searching for?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, network engineering, information technology, or comparable industry experience
- Cisco CCNA requires CCNP. It is beneficial to get certifications. Information technology certifications such as MCP and ITIL
- 1–3 years of progressive experience in computer network design and support.
- Knowledge and experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPNs), IP routing protocols such as RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, and MPLS. Network switching is required.
- understands service providers and TCP/IP data networks.
- Knowledge of IPv4 is required.
- Proven ability to complete specified duties with minimal supervision.
- Capability to manage and prioritize complicated, shifting workloads in a demanding technical environment.
