How you will contribute

As your first managerial role, you’ll be responsible for achieving Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets for your assigned lines. This includes breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring employees understand their individual performance goals in relation to the overall targets. In this capacity, you will also be in charge of budget preparation, cost control management, governance and compliance, loss reduction, and workforce planning, which includes recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and identifying high-potential teammates. Without you, we would be unable to provide our consumers with high-quality food.

  • Automated maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 Systems
  • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM and PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment.
  • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma, including the qualification of AM steps 5-6 and PM step 3.
  • Leading Line Teams
  • Handling difficult interpersonal situations gracefully.
  • Influencing people in a union setting.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail

This entails effective and efficient management of processes, methodologies, and material resources in order to continually supply high-quality products at the appropriate throughput at competitive prices, ensuring the business’s profitability. All of these actions must be carried out in a safe and clean atmosphere.

What you need to know about this position:

This position encompasses all production and maintenance activities carried out in the Plant and requires a thorough understanding of maintenance, weighing, steam systems and applications, vacuum system operations, cooker, forming/cooling systems and operations, usage and applications, etc.

It entails determining the fundamental cause of problems in order to find the most effective and long-lasting remedy.

It also includes thorough knowledge of the plant’s distribution network, such as:

– Ensure strict adherence to planned maintenance and enhancement, where possible, of processes, techniques, and procedures for producing standard quality products.

– Provide enough training for all levels of the department’s workers (management and non-management).

– Implement all aspects of Total Quality Management (QA, QC, and the QA concept), including quality control and machine setup to begin a production cycle.

– Ensure that all manufacturing materials are prepared and available in a timely manner to avoid production shortages.

– Regularly report on all issues concerning production activity and progress.

– Conduct a risk assessment to assure LOTO compliance and achieve near-zero faults. Ensure that machines are operated with guards and safety measures in place in accordance with the process.

Education / Certifications:

– Candidates must possess at least a BSc, HND or its equivalent in Engineering from a reputable institution.

– Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience in a Process Plant.

– A proven ability to learn quickly and take responsibility for actions taken.

– Accountable, Adaptable, Aggressive, Collaborative & must have integrity.
