Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated candidate to join the Global Reward Services team as a Manager Reward Services. 

This person will be in charge of implementing Reward procedures and operations, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness, while leading a team of Reward specialists within a specific area of responsibility. 

 This is a permanent role that can be based at any of our EMEA sites (except Switzerland).

What you will do

  • Lead and manage a Reward team with multi-country responsibility in EMEA (direct reporting line).
  • Assume responsibility for maximizing the Reward team’s expertise, skill, and general development.
  • Lead the Rewards service delivery for your area of responsibility using local expertise and knowledge to ensure high quality and timely delivery of globally standard processes in the designated zone.
  • Lead and manage a Reward team with multi-country responsibility in EMEA (direct reporting line).
  • Assume responsibility for maximizing the Reward team’s expertise, skill, and general development.
  • Lead the Rewards service delivery for your area of responsibility using local expertise and knowledge to ensure high quality and timely delivery of globally standard processes in the designated zone.
  • Be an advisor and speaking partner for various business stakeholders as well as the HR&T community on customized local awards requests for individuals, local teams, employee/line managers, and country-specific cases.
  • Drive, participate, or contribute to Reward initiatives.
  • Provide local teams with interpretations of corporate policies and procedures on salary and benefits in order to achieve global implementation and compliance.
  • Analyze salary and benefits data and generate solutions as needed to support decisions, as well as conduct autonomous competitiveness analyses based on business needs.
  • Be hands-on and up to date, and assure compliance when building a regulatory environment.
  • Develop solid vendor relationships in order to consistently identify local market practices and trends.
  • Partner with local teams to implement remedial measures based on self-assessment or audit results to guarantee governance and compliance.

We believe you have

  • A minimum of 8 years of expertise in human resources, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in international compensation and benefit operations.  
  • A university bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in business administration, economics, finance, or human resources.
  • Proven experience and competence as a communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.  
  • Strong understanding of market best practices for remuneration and benefits across multiple countries, as well as local specifics.
  • Understanding the effects of unionized settings and dynamics on reward behaviors.
  • Strong analytical abilities and data management through reward tools result in comprehensive responses to business needs.
  • Experience in project management demonstrates the capacity to drive continuous improvement and change management.
  • Reward knowledge at the proficient+ level, including job evaluation/leveling, in-depth market analysis, and the ability to develop and present data analysis in a structured and comprehensive manner, annual compensation review cycles, benefits benchmarking and analysis, and total remuneration management.
  • The consulting mindset/approach to diagnosing requirements and delivering solutions.
  • Have a thorough understanding of external market data vendors’ methodologies.
  • Experience directing reward teams, with or without authority, will be considered an advantage.
