About Caliphate Air Limited
Caliphate Air is a Nigerian airline that is getting ready to start regular domestic passenger and cargo flights. We got our Air Transport License (ATL) in 2025, and now we are working with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to get our Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC).
We expect to start operations in the summer of 2026, and they will be based at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (FTC-Abuja).
From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a customer-centered travel experience based on a strong safety culture, operational discipline, and reliable on-time performance.
The Sokoto State Government owns Caliphate Air completely, and it runs as a limited liability company under the Sokoto State Investment Council. This gives the airline both public-sector funding and professional supervision, which helps it stay in business for a long time.
