About Federal Polytechnic Kabo
The Federal Polytechnic Kabo (FPKK) is an institution that is controlled by the federal government and is located in Kano State, Nigeria.
It was founded in 2022 by President Muhammadu Buhari with the intention of increasing access to technical and vocational education.
The institution is dedicated to innovation, research, and community service, and it provides National Diploma (ND) programs in various fields of study.
The Federal Polytechnic Kabo is a relatively new college that is expanding at a quick rate. Its mission is to provide students from Nigeria with chances for research, practical skills, and global readiness.

Academic Staff Positions
- Chief Lecturer – CONPCASS 09/2
Candidates must possess a relevant Doctorate Degree from a recognized institution plus at least seventeen (17) years teaching/research or industrial experience with at least eight (8) conference/seminar papers and six articles/journal publications plus five chapters contribution in a standard textbook(s) or two (2) standard textbook(s) with NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate. - Senior Lecturer – CONPCASS 07/2
Candidates must possess a relevant Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution plus at least fifteen (15) years teaching/research or industrial work experience with at least five conference/seminar papers and four article/journal publications or two (2) chapters contribution in a standard textbook(s) plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate. - Lecturer I – CONPCASS 06/2
Candidates must possess a relevant Academic Master’s Degree plus at least nine (9) years teaching/research or industrial work experience with five (5) conference/seminar papers, four (4) journal article publications plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate. - Lecturer III – CONPCASS 03
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor Degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in a relevant discipline, NYSC Discharge Certificate plus at least two (2) conference/seminar papers and one (1) journal article accepted for publication with at least three (3) years teaching/research or industrial work experience.
Alternatively, candidates must possess a relevant Academic Master’s Degree plus at least one (1) conference/seminar paper. - Assistant Lecturer – CONPCASS 02
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor Degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in a relevant discipline with NYSC Discharge Certificate. - Instructor I – CONPCASS 02
Candidates applying for this post must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline (minimum of Distinction or Upper Credit) plus NYSC Certificate. - Senior Instructor I – CONPCASS 03
Candidates applying for this post must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline (minimum of Distinction or Upper Credit), NYSC Certificate plus a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in teaching or industry.
Non-Academic Staff Positions
- Senior Accountant / Senior Auditor – CONTEDISS 9/2
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) with at least six (6) years post-qualification cognate experience with evidence of membership of a professional body (ANAN or ICAN). - Senior Engineer – CONTEDISS 9/2
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor Degree (minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) in the relevant Engineering discipline plus at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience or a Master’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution. - Legal Officer – CONTEDISS 9/2
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Law and be legally qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria. - Engineer I – CONTEDISS 8/2
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) in a relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized institution, plus NYSC Discharge Certificate. - Procurement Officer II – CONTEDISS 08
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor Degree (minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) in Business Administration, Finance, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution plus NYSC Discharge Certificate. - Confidential Secretary III – CONTEDISS 06
Candidates must possess a National Diploma in Office Technology and Management/Secretarial Studies or its equivalent at credit level from a recognized institution. - Nursing Officer – CONHESS 7/2
Candidates must possess Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN) plus Nigerian Registered Midwife (NRM) certificates duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service
The appointment is permanent and pensionable in line with extant public service rules of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
