Job Description
We are in search of a Mathematics and Computer Science Teacher who is both knowledgeable and ardent to join our educational institution in Benin City, Nigeria. The optimal candidate will cultivate a passion for mathematics and computer science in students, thereby preparing them for future academic and professional success, and will inspire and educate them in these subjects.
- Come up with and execute captivating lesson plans in computer science and mathematics for students of all academic levels.
- Instruct a variety of mathematical concepts, including fundamental arithmetic and advanced calculus.
- Provide students with instruction on the fundamentals of computer science, programming languages, and software development.
- Establish and sustain an inclusive, positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and development
- Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and assignments.
- Assist students with constructive criticism and additional assistance as required.
- Enhance the curriculum and teaching methods by working in conjunction with other educators and staff.
- Ensure that you are informed about the most recent developments and trends in the fields of mathematics and computer science education.
- Engage in school events and parent-teacher conferences
- Ensure that student attendance and progress are accurately documented.
Qualifications for Mathematics And Computer Science Teacher
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Possessing a valid teaching certification and a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of computer science and mathematics
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities
- Proven capacity to develop lesson plans that are both engaging and effective
- Proficiency in classroom administration
