Job Description
We are currently seeking a Mobile Application Tester who is detail-oriented and skilled to join our QA team in Abuja. The optimal candidate will possess extensive experience in the testing of mobile applications on both the Android and iOS platforms. By conducting manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and designers to enhance app performance and usability, and identifying defects, you will be accountable for ensuring high-quality mobile releases.
Key Responsibilities Architectural Design Intern
- Create, create, and implement test plans, cases, and scripts for mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing on native and hybrid mobile applications.
- Run functional, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility tests.
- Use tools like JIRA or Bugzilla to document and track issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers.
- Ensure that mobile applications meet commercial and technical specifications.
- Test API integrations with tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Provide feedback on the user experience and app functionality.
- Keep up with the newest developments in mobile testing tools and technology.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience testing mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of the Android and iOS operating systems.
- Experience with testing technologies such as Appium, Selenium, Postman, and JIRA.
- Understand the software development lifecycle and Agile techniques.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks is beneficial.
- Effective communication and analytical capabilities.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred qualifications include
- B.Sc./HND in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- ISTQB certification or any related quality assurance qualifications (a bonus).
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
