Who can Apply
To be eligible for the MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship 2025/2026, applicants are required to fulfil all of the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a dependent of a shareholder or an employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc
- Must be enrolled in a recognised educational institution in accordance with the official scholarship guidelines.
- Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, with at least five (5) distinctions in JSCE and SSCE.
- Must satisfy all supplementary requirements specified within the official scholarship guidelines.
Secondary School Applicants
The scholarship shall be granted to students who have successfully completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) and have attained a minimum of five (5) distinctions, i.e., grade A, representing an excellent performance in the relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in a single sitting.
- Applicants must possess the JSCE results at the time of application.
- Applicants must not be older than 18 years at the time of application. The applicant must be Nigerian.
- The applicant must be a child of a verified employee or individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period.
- The applicant must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.
Applicants for undergraduate admission:
The scholarship shall be conferred upon pupils who have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, such as NECO or GCE.
- The applicant must have achieved a minimum of five (5) distinctions, corresponding to an outstanding grading in the five subjects pertinent to the course of study at the preferred higher institution, including Mathematics and English Language, all obtained in a single examination sitting.
- The applicant must have received an admission offer from an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria (University, Polytechnic, or Monotechnic).
- Applicants must not exceed 25 years of age at the time of application.
- The applicant must be a Nigerian national.
- The applicant must be a dependent of a verified employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.
- The applicant must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

Required Documents
All scholarship applications must be submitted electronically to monscholarship@mrsholdings.com (with scanned copies of the necessary credentials).
- Result of Junior Secondary JSCE for Secondary School and SSCE for Tertiary School in a single sitting
- Admission Letter
- Birth certificate/affidavit (birth affidavit date must be earlier than 60 days before December 3, 2025).
- School fees must be signed by the school, and parents must provide identification.
