Job Summary
Perform all NDT procedures on the aircraft’s wheels, brakes, and structures in accordance with OEM-approved documentation, as well as Air Peace and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities of NDT Level 2 Technician
- Set up and calibrate the non-destructive testing equipment.
- Test for quality or discover discontinuities (defects) using NDT inspection methods.
- Develop strategies for properly examining objects under inspection and guaranteeing strict conformity to safety rules.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with relevant specifications or standards, then assess the results.
- Organize and report test findings.
- Perform specialized inspections.
- Instruct and supervise others.
- Creating systems and procedures to support quality assurance and rigorous testing.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Formal NDT training hours.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Aerospace NDT inspection as Level 2 (ET, MT, PT & UT).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to perform duties.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Knowledge of Aviation Legislation/Regulations.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Human factors application.
- Leadership Experience.
- Must have sufficient technical knowledge and skills, to be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment; and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods per his/her qualification and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level 1 personnel.
- Should be able to organize and report the results of NDT tests.
- Must have good computer skills in Microsoft applications.
- Must be physically fit.
Requirements for NDT Level 2 Technician
- Achieve 95% of Target required on components and structures
- Quality of Component and Equipment Maintenance (MTBF)
- Number of incidents / accidents
- Proper use of materials and consumables required for the NDT Inspection
- Have proven integrity, transparency and accountability
- Good teamwork skills

- Good interpersonal communication skills
