Zamfara State Internal Revenue Service (ZIRS) is currently recruiting to fill some vacant positions.
As the revenue generation agency in Zamfara, the Zamfara State Internal Revenue Service (ZIRS) is tasked with the aim of maximizing revenue production through efficient tax administration while simultaneously offering quality services to taxpayers. Our objective is to establish a tax system that is equitable and open to public scrutiny, with the purpose of fostering compliance, minimizing tax evasion, and bolstering economic growth in the state of Zamfara.

Legal & Compliance Officer at Zamfara State Internal Revenue Service (ZIRS)
Job Title: Legal & Compliance Officer

Requirements
- Law (LL.B., BL) Degree
- Professional legal qualifications required
- Must be a Zamfara State indigene
- Must be between 18–35 years (for entry-level positions)
- Must possess good character and have no criminal record
- Must be medically fit (certified by a government hospital)
- Must have a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and be tax compliant
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields from a recognized institution, with at least a Second Class Lower Division or its equivalent.
- Must provide a birth certificate or declaration of age
Required Competencies:
- ICT proficiency and digital literacy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Leadership potential and initiative

Requirements
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields from a recognized institution, with at least a Second Class Lower Division or its equivalent in Mass Communication, Public Relations, or related fields
- Media & communication certifications are advantages
- Must be a Zamfara State indigene
- Must be between 18–35 years (for entry-level positions)
- Must possess good character and have no criminal record
- Must be medically fit (certified by a government hospital)
- Must have a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and be tax compliant
- Must provide a birth certificate or declaration of age.

- Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields from a recognized institution, with at least a Second Class Lower Division or its equivalent.

- 0–3 years post-NYSC experience
- Must be a Zamfara State indigene
- Must be between 18–35 years (for entry-level positions)
- Must possess good character and have no criminal record
- Must be medically fit (certified by a government hospital)
- Must have a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and be tax compliant
- Must provide a birth certificate or declaration of age.
Professional Certifications (Added Advantages):
- CITN, ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or relevant certifications.
