Job Summary

  • The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate demand estimates for the company’s products.  This position entails examining historical sales data, market trends, and other pertinent aspects to generate accurate projections that enable effective inventory management, production planning, and overall supply chain optimization.  
  • The Demand Planner will work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations departments to align predictions with company goals and assure timely product supply.

About you

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, economics, or a comparable discipline.  Experience:
  • Six years of experience with demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of creating and sustaining accurate demand projections. * Worked with forecasting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis and forecasting procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
