Job Summary
The Warehouse (Distribution Centre – DC) is a service center for providing an amazing client experience, which is the foundation of our company’s financial success. It is supervised by a customer-focused Warehouse Officer who is a competent multitasker who will oversee the warehouse’s efficient and safe operation, including personnel coordination, task assignment, and performance monitoring, to ensure productivity, quality, and safety targets are met.
About you
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Must have HND, B.Sc., or B.A degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Have a thorough understanding of inventory management and warehouse practices.
- Be able to account for all products entering and exiting the warehouse.
- Must have a high level of integrity, honesty, fidelity, transparency, and openness.
- Must be able to lead others and show dedication and ownership.
- Have effective communication abilities.
- Must demonstrate commitment and take ownership of the job.
- Physically and intellectually healthy
- Â Must be computer proficient with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
- The Warehouse Officer must be results-oriented, capable of managing teams, motivating employees, and creating a great work environment. Ensure that warehouse operations are managed efficiently and effectively in accordance with corporate standards and processes, while preserving inventory accuracy, product quality, and environmental health and safety.
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse management fundamentals.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must possess exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to supervise and manage both team and non-team individuals in order to achieve warehouse business goals and targets.
