About Parallex Bank
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has granted a licence to the commercial bank known as Parallex Bank, which is located in Nigeria.
The year 2008 marked the beginning of its existence as a microfinance bank, originally functioning as a “unit” microfinance bank. Subsequently, it was promoted to the status of a national microfinance institution.
The transformation of Parallex from a microfinance bank into a commercial bank was a significant and ground-breaking event. At the beginning of 2022, it will make its official debut as a commercial bank.
The Chairman is Adeola Phillips, and Olufemi Nojeemdeen Bakre (also known as Dr. Femi Bakre) is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Femi Bakre’s tenure was extended for an additional five years beginning in May 2025.

Requirements for Graduate Trainee Program

- • NYSC completion or proof of exemption
- • Minimum 2.2 from a respectable university.
- • Minimum of 5 O’Level credits (including Maths and English) in no more than two sittings.
- • Not older than 26 years.
