About the job
The QC Chemist is essential in guaranteeing the quality, safety, and regulatory adherence of products throughout the manufacturing process.
He/She is tasked with performing physicochemical analyses on raw and packaging materials, in-process substances, and finalised products to confirm their composition and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and Danone standards.
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science and Technology, or any other related field
- A minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing and quality laboratory operations, preferably dairy operations.
- Familiar with FMCG industry standards and regulatory guidelines (such as HACCP and ISO standards).
- Knowledge of FSMS (FSSC 22000) is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and sanitation procedures.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail for interpreting test results.
- Strong knowledge of chemical testing techniques and food safety regulations.
- Promoting team spirit and leading to achieve goals.
- Good laboratory practices and management knowledge.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulatory compliance.
