Job Description
- We are in search of a Senior Backend Developer who is both highly skilled and experienced to join their team.
- The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Backend Developer at Myrtle
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable applications to facilitate business operations.
- Improve the performance and user experience of extant software applications by maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, design, and distribute software solutions of exceptional quality.
- Create and execute SQL queries, stored procedures, and routines to facilitate data integrity and reporting requirements.
- Record the application architecture, workflows, and processes for future upgrades, training, and reference.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify application-related issues in a timely manner.
- Guarantee that IT policies, standards, and best practices are adhered to.
- Assist novice developers with technical guidance and mentorship as needed.
- Engage in quality assurance activities, audits, and system evaluations.
- Conduct research and suggest cutting-edge technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the efficacy of development.
Qualifications Experience:
- A minimum of seven years of experience in software development, with a demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain applications in a corporate setting..
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in ASP.NET (vb.NET WCF).
- Proficient in XML, JSON, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
- Advanced proficiency in the programming of T-SQL and SQL Server.
- Expertise in technical documentation and troubleshooting
Competencies that are desirable include:
- Expertise in the use of.NET web services.
- An understanding of Team Foundation Server (TFS)
