We are an organisation that is not-for-profit and our mission is to honour and empower young women and girls who are working in the field of technology across Africa.

About She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship
The She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship is an initiative that aims to provide financial assistance to African women and girls who are interested in pursuing employment or educational opportunities in the field of technology.
In this particular round of the scholarship, it is not limited to members of the She Code Africa group; rather, it is accessible to all African women and girls. If you have a strong interest in technology but do not have access to a personal laptop, this is your opportunity to submit an application.
Your shown interest in technology, the clarity of your goals, and the ways in which having access to a laptop would promote your growth will all play a role in the selection process for the recipients who will receive a brand-new laptop that is totally financed by HP.
We think that every female should have the opportunity to be successful, and we are dedicated to ensuring equitable access to technology for all people.

Requirements
- The She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship Program has the following requirements for applicants:
- Applicants must include the following in order to be considered for the She Code Africa Scholarship Program:
- Must be a female candidate.
- Follow She Code Africa on one of the following social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
- Must not already possess a laptop that is operational and must have previously begun their voyages in the field of technology.
- Must be available to personally receive the laptop in Lagos.
- You must be a current member of the She Code Africa community in order to submit an application (for more information on how to become a member, please visit shecodeafrica.org/community)
