Principal Accountabilities
- Regularly inspect, maintain, and service utility systems such as HVAC, cooling towers, compressors, and generators to guarantee optimal performance, longevity, and zero downtime of all utility equipment.
- Respond quickly to utility system malfunctions and make necessary repairs to reduce production downtime and ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
- Conduct frequent safety inspections to ensure that all utility systems are compliant with applicable safety requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with all teams to give support and satisfy their utility needs, ensuring smooth production operation.
- Supervise the operations of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and external contractors on business grounds to ensure standards are met, projects are completed on schedule, and work is of high quality.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment status, maintenance operations, repairs, system performance, and incidents to ensure adequate monitoring and keep management informed.

Job context
Framework and Boundaries: The Utility Technician follows established SOPs, safety regulations, and regulatory compliance while keeping correct records and communicating with production teams, OEMs, and contractors. Boundaries include gaining clearance for significant decisions from the Utility Division in charge, managing resources within budget restrictions, assuring safety and compliance, and focusing on maintaining utility systems such as HVAC, cooling towers, compressors, and generators.
