Applications are currently ongoing for the 2026 Digital Jewels CARES Scholarship, a full undergraduate scholarship aimed at supporting academically gifted but financially disadvantaged Nigerian students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses.
Organised by Digital Jewels Africa, under its DJ CARES Scholarship Scheme, the scheme offers complete tuition support, professional mentorship, technology industry exposure and career development opportunities to deserving students enrolled in public universities across Nigeria.
The project is to prepare the next generation of technology professionals by easing financial barriers to higher education and equipping scholars for successful careers in the IT industry.

The Digital Jewels CARES Scholarship is one of Nigeria’s largest technology-focused scholarship schemes, committed to assisting bright undergraduate students who are keen to embark on a career in information technology and related STEM fields.

Applicants must be studying one of the following or a closely related discipline:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2026 Digital Jewels CARES Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be enrolled full-time in an accredited Federal or State university in Nigeria.
- Be in 200 or 300 level at the time of application.
- Study an eligible IT-related programme.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or its equivalent.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Not currently be benefiting from another scholarship programme.
- Be willing to complete every stage of the scholarship selection process.
Selection Process
The scholarship selection process consists of six stages:

Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Applicants should note the following important conditions:
- Only one beneficiary is permitted per family within a five-year period.
- Relatives or wards of Digital Jewels employees, partners, or associated companies are not eligible.
- Beneficiaries must maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout the scholarship period.
- Scholars may lose the award if their academic performance or conduct falls below the programme’s required standards.
- Periodic academic progress reports may be requested from recipients.
