About the Federal Government National MSME awards 2006
The National MSME awards are an annual, week-long event that is designed to recognise exceptional indigenous MSMEs.
The activity, which spans a week, includes the international MSME week, an Expanded National MSME Clinic, a business exhibition/plenary session, and a gala/award night to motivate MSMEs throughout the nation.
The MSME awards were initiated in August 2018 and were subsequently awarded in June of the subsequent years. To date, there have been five award ceremonies, with more than 40 verifiable recipients.
In the past, the winners of the various categories have received a variety of prizes that have had an impact on their businesses and profiles. These prizes include cash, vehicles, and, of course, local and international media attention.
The initial 1-star prize, which was a vehicle in 2018, has been increased to 10 cars in all categories for the MSME of the Year winner.
Additionally, the reward for the awards has increased. This is intended to emphasise the substantial relationship that has been established between the Federal Government and the private sector over the years.
