About the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation Grant (SAAF)
Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the wife of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, created the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation Grant, which is also known as the SAAF Educational Grant, in order to provide financial assistance to students from Oyo State who are academically gifted but come from families with limited financial resources who are registered at higher institutions in Nigeria.
The Aim and the benefits
The goal of this organization is to carry on the legacy of the late governor Ajimobi by continuing his dedication to education, peace, and good government.
Young Nigerians are encouraged to engage in critical thinking, academic excellence, and ethical principles as part of the initiative to promote excellence and leadership development.
In order to encourage community development, recipients are motivated not just to achieve academic success but also to contribute to the betterment of society.
Grant Amount and Those Who Will Benefit
- The initial grant to each beneficiary is ₦150,000 in the year 2024.
-  During the memorial event in 2024, a grant sum of ₦200,000 was granted to a total of 25 students who were chosen for the grant.Â
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be natives of Oyo State in order to be considered.
- Students need to be enrolled in Nigerian tertiary institutions on a full-time basis in order to be considered.
- Exhibit exceptional academic performance and demonstrate academic excellence.
- Demonstrate that you are going through a genuine financial need.
Benefits
- Scholarships for Education: Applicants who are chosen to get financial assistance for their academic activities are awarded ₦150,000.
