About iOS Engineer at FairMoney Nigeria
You will work as a Mobile Software Engineer in our Technology Division, which presently has over 75 employees in Lagos, Bangalore, Paris, Turkey, and remotely throughout the world.
We are expanding our Engineering team to achieve excellence across several locations and are looking for clever, skilled, and driven engineers. This is a one-of-a-kind chance to join the core engineering team of a rapidly expanding fintech company that is primed for even faster growth in the future years.
The role is to design new service capabilities for our iOS application that supports the connection between our Mobile-first Microfinance bank and our worldwide customers. Functionality that serves to maximize consumer experience and utility.
Responsibilities
Designing and developing mobile apps for Apple’s iOS platform
Ensuring that the application’s quality and performance meet specifications
Fixing application bugs prior to final release.
Increased code creation coverage
Maintaining the application’s code and atomization
Designing and implementing application changes.
Requirements for iOS Engineer at FairMoney Nigeria
- Â 4+ years of native iOS development with skills in Swift (including Swift 5+).
- Â 2+ years of SwiftUI and Combine
- Â 2+ years of pair programming, TDD, and code reviews
- Â 2+ years of writing unit, instrumented and end-to-end tests.
- Â 2+ years of experience maintaining CI pipelines
- Â Understanding Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines
- Â You can manage complexity in a huge project.
- Â KMP experience is a major plus.
- Â Composable architecture knowledge (optional)
Technical Skills
- Â Ability to develop clear, efficient, and high-quality code.
- Â Experience using multi-module applications.
- Â Experience with Clean Architecture and frameworks such as The Composable Architecture.
- Â Understanding of Git procedures, particularly trunk-based development.
- Â Skilled at using Swift enums for clear, maintainable code.
- Â Strong understanding of Swift KeyPaths and method/property chaining techniques.
- Proficient in dependency management like CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
- Understanding of Unidirectional Data Flow (UDF) patterns and their use in application architecture
- Practical experience using Redux-like state management in iOS apps.
