Responsibilities of
- This job will be responsible for ensuring the effective creation of functional product details that drive the development work of a core engineering team.
- Working directly with the firm’s senior engineers, designers, QA, and the rest of the engineering team to provide a market-leading enterprise product.
- As the company evolves and flourishes, the suitable person may be given more responsibility for product control.
- Managing and owning the business-side requirements for developing an enterprise product.
- Assist in the development of goods, features, and road maps by outlining the functionality that will be accomplished within various time frames.
- Participating in SAFe PI Planning by breaking down particular business requirement papers and adding functionality and technical specifics about the work to be done.
- Ensure that the details in Epics, Stories, and Tasks support business needs and are properly documented in Jira/Confluence.
- Work closely with third-party providers, providing them with requirements, maintaining regular communication, ensuring timely delivery of modifications, and coordinating testing and change management.
- Interacts with internal and external audiences, responding to product-related inquiries and requests.
- Create and maintain release notes, technical material, and documentation.
- Work closely with the Release Manager to include release notes and documentation as needed.
- Define and analyze metrics that help determine product success.
- Identify and implement substantial product, organizational, and process opportunities, frequently without clear direction or resources.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing technical program delivery using common management structures (e.g., scrum, agile), including direct involvement in requirements analysis, documentation, quality assurance, and resource allocation.
Sufficient technical proficiency to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a wide range of technical difficulties.
A thorough understanding of SDLC and contemporary web application technologies.
Experience working in the financial services business as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
Knowledge of trading, securities, clearing, settlement, and custody.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal abilities.
Experience working with both internal and external development teams.
Proven technical writing experience.
Experience working with regulated apps (finance).
Bonus: Knowledge with security testing and audits, load/performance testing, and test automation would be advantageous.
