What you will do
- Daily, integrated monitoring of overall production and injection well performance.
- Specifies, assesses, and monitors volume measurements throughout the asset lifecycle
- Concentrate on volume measurements, data quality, commissioning, and reliability.
- Develops and ensures alignment for near-term production operations and volume plans.
- Coordinates and prioritizes data gathering, maintenance, lifting, enhancement, commissioning, etc. on the production schedule and incorporates into the volume forecast.
- Provides feedback on shutdown planning to inform scopes that maximize value and optimize data collection activities.
- Inventory management involves identifying, prioritizing, and advancing optimization options that increase asset value.
- Coordinates projects with technical teams and centers.
- Assesses cost reductions in accordance with production optimization concepts.
- Accountable for the economics of production optimization decisions.
- Advises on surface and subsurface opportunities (such as artificial lift, well work, and flow assurance); evaluates and coordinates as needed. Execution may depend on risk assessment and complexity.
- Maintain and communicate idle and developable inventories (total developed capacity).
- Develop and maintain asset constraint maps.
- Identify well-inflow/outflow optimization opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required. Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Petroleum, and Geology
- NYSC Completion Certificate
- Knowledge of: Analytical performance prediction, artificial lift, capacity allocation and management, integrated surveillance and optimization, operations support and facilities surveillance, well performance and optimization, production data management, production well.
- Testing, rate measurement, reservoir surveillance
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of production optimization and technical experience.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software tools.
- Behavioral Expectations: Strong team player, good communication skills (written and verbal), good coordination and collaboration abilities, Good technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrates initiative and applies learning.
