Job Role
As a Prompt Engineer & web Developer, you’ll collaborate with the Data Science (DS) team to experiment, develop, and deploy AI-powered online apps. Your tasks will include creating and optimizing prompts for AI models, quickly generating web-based prototypes, and effectively presenting our team’s work to diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Prompt Engineering entails creating, testing, and refining prompts for large language models (LLMs) to enhance student learning and instructor workflows.
- Web Prototyping and Development – Create and iterate on AI-powered web applications with JavaScript (React, Vue, or other frameworks).
- AI Integration – Integrate AI-powered functionality into ThinkCERCA solutions by using APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or other AI providers.
- Team Communication: Act as a link between the DS team and other departments, presenting work, gathering requirements, and ensuring stakeholder needs are satisfied.
- online Presence and Documentation – Create and maintain an online presence for the Data Science team, write technical documentation for AI prototypes, and help with product updates and release notes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with AI/ML models, APIs, and tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hugging Face.
- Experience in quick engineering, including knowledge of LLMs and AI model behavior.
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience with front-end web development (React, Vue, or equivalent frameworks).
- Backend development experience (in Python or a similar language) is required to facilitate AI integrations.
- Excellent written and vocal communication abilities, including the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- The ability to quickly prototype and iterate in response to feedback.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the willingness to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven atmosphere.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of education technology (EdTech) or experience with K-12 teaching contexts.
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices for AI-powered applications.
